Mark Bowler Scientific Images (MBSI) is an extensive collection of professional photography focusing on wildlife, scientific research and environmental issues. We supply images and editorial features for use in books, magazines, newspapers and other commissions uses. Our pictures have appeared in National Geographic Magazine and hundreds of other books, magazines and newspapers.

MBSI is managed by biologist and photographer Mark Bowler, and includes the 'Amazon-Images' collection of photography from South America, as well as natural and scientific pictures from around the world.

MBSI photographers are able to take on comissions both on location and in our studio. We also conduct consultancy work and produce illustrated articles on natural history and scientific topics. Mark Bowler has worked for the BBC Natural History Unit, lectures at universities, and has appeared in documentaries on Animal Planet (USA) CBC (Canada) and the BBC (UK).
